Drone Videography, Photography & Operations Management

Thank you for taking the time to review my credentials. My name is Wendy Alli and I live in the Tampa Bay area in the great state of Florida! I am about a month away from graduating with a degree in Unmanned Vehicle Systems Operations for air, land, and sea.
Being an FAA-certified drone pilot entails more than just taking, and passing, a test. The UAS field requires one of the most important things - thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and keeping up with today's ever-growing technology and laws. The UVSO degree has instilled in me everything needed for success in the industry. I have also been in IT most of my life and know how important it is!
I am an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot ready to use my skills after graduating in May 2025! Please use the contact form below to get in touch if you have a position open, or have questions! I am not strictly set on a position in the state of Florida. I am willing to travel and/or move.

Other Certificates:
I have been flying drones for 2 years. While I have a lot of personal flight time, I was able to grab some assignments for real-world mission experience.
Mule Search (Yes, you read that right!)
One of my experiences was using thermal to find a mule that was missing in Hernando County. With permission from the division of forestry, I and others in my group were able to fly within the forest to locate the mule.
Roof Inspection
I performed roof inspections after hurricane Helene to assess damage or compromises to the roof, roof structure, and shingles.
College Photogrammetry/Videography Assignments
T3 UAV
My internship with T3 UAV consisted of a lot of video and photo editing. The photo editing was done in Adobe Photoshop.
Feld Entertainment, Inc./NBC Sports
I assisted the FPV drone pilot at the Tampa Supercross race. I received 22 hours of my internship assisting with setup, dismantle, and spotting the drone while making sure the signal to the broadcast trailer was not lost. My VO responsibilities were numerous: I watched the drone, would have retrieved it from an on-track employee had it went down (it didn't), kept attendees away from the area, especially the landing zone, retrieved and reset the drone upon landing. Once ready, I ran it back out to the helipad for takeoff, alerting the pilot that the area was all clear. I also had to notify the pilot of racer positions.
Experienced with the Following Drones:
Not all pilots fly in the air! During the summer, I was able to take a maritime class which not only presented the opportunity to pilot underwater ROVs, but also learn important facts about boating, the seas, winds, weather, and more! I was also tested for my swimming capabilities and was made to tread water for 36 minutes while answering maritime questions. I was brought out on a pontoon boat as well as having to kayak for several miles in some pretty harsh conditions, all of which were a great experience. If any companies out there need an underwater ROV operator (that also accepts women for employment), I would be very interested in hearing about it! Whether it be a research company that goes overseas or an inspection company, I'd love to apply!
